The Biden family arrived at Nantucket Island for their final presidential Thanksgiving on Tuesday despite a spate of migrant crimes that have plagued the vacation hot spot this year.
A small crowd watched as Air Force One touched down at Nantucket Memorial Airport just before 6 p.m., and a presidential motorcade whisked the first family away, the Nantucket Current reported.
For the past three years, the Bidens have stayed at a property owned by private equity billionaire David Rubenstein that overlooks Nantucket Harbor, and their visit this year continues their 40-year tradition of spending the holiday on the island, the Current reported.
The Nantucket visit comes after a rash of illegal immigrants were picked up by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials there earlier this fall.

President Joe Biden has flown north to the Nantucket home of Orioles owner David Rubenstein for the Thanksgiving holiday.
This is reportedly the third consecutive year that the Bidens have stayed at the waterfront Abram’s Point home of Rubenstein, who is also the co-founder of the Carlyle Group Inc., a private equity, asset management and financial services firm.

Just curious about the level of hypocrisy on Nantucket. Is it a sanctuary city that rounds up illegals, orbdo the elites there only decree sanctuary areas where the peasants live?

This good news in a way. Massachusetts is a sanctuary state and one of the bluest. With a loony left lesbian governor to confirm this.
When the Thomas Horman mass deportations start, illegal aliens are going to self-deport to the sanctuary states. The bluer the better.
Plus these sanctuary states will lose Federal funding due to resistance to these deportations.

These scummy sanctuary cities and states will have an illegal alien child molester-sex offender locked up. When he is released on bail, they will refuse to notify ICE so that he can be picked up for deportation.
The real kicker is that 80% of the time they are molesting illegal alien girls. So ‘The Law” is refusing to protect their precious illegal aliens.

Abrahms point is actually a high spot on the island. Like 50’ amsl. So Dave will eventually need to install a helipad when Straight Wharf (ferry) and Nobadeer (airport) go under. Eel point also has some ‘last to go under’ properties. But I think Shawkemo hills (sp?) has the best. And beautiful moor walks

My wife and I stayed in Nantucket for four days last month at a friend’s estate on the beach. Very thankful for his friendship and generosity. I spoke with his property manager “D” who has lived on Nantucket her entire life. Guessing, about 60 years old. Also spoke with “Rich” our driver on the island who moved to Nantucket with his wife from Houston area for adventure and to teach public school math there. Both spoke of huge “immigrant” issues. They corral them to live on less-desirable land near a boat maintenance and storage marina and near the airport. The Nantucket public schools went from lowest to highest percentage Hispanics in Massachusetts. Not many residents year-round, most people are seasonal. Many things close during winter; not many tourists.
